New Client Basics
Length of Each Treatment
One hour is booked for each client. To provide the best treatment the actual work time will vary. Over-treatment results in lost ground. Fortunately the body gives good notice as this point is approaching.
Length of Time Between Treatments
Treatments are normally spaced two to four weeks apart, occasionally longer. Change always occurs between treatments. Often more change occurs between treatments than during each treatment. It is essential to give the body time to come to a new equilibrium between treatments.
Number of Treatments
No contract for a specific number of treatments is required. You will make your own decisions throughout the treatment process.
The number of treatments people need varies a great deal. Often 8 - 12 sessions are necessary, occasionally as few as 3 may be enough. Some individuals will notice change immediately and others may not begin sensing the changes for a few days. In some situations, substantially more than a dozen sessions will be required to achieve balance and stability. Change is started in each treatment session and continues between treatment sessions. Treatment sessions are booked farther apart than for many other modalities to accommodate changes between sessions. At any point between appointments changes can be strong, we encourage you to contact us for guidance & support as part of your treatment program.
After the initial group of sessions you will usually not need more work for months or years.
When to Expect Improvements
Chronic pain is the most common reason to seek treatment at this office. Other situations including stiffness and posture are also addressed. Many people feel pain reduction during the first treatment, while for others the problems are more complex and pain reduction may not be felt for 3 - 4 visits. During this time, flexibility and alignment usually are improving. Look for the improvement in movement & alignment along the way. If pain levels are not improving after four visits, we have to question if this is the right kind of treatment. The amount of perceived pain reduction may be fairly steady from session to session, or may seem greater after some sessions than others. Each treatment makes valuable change but sometimes several issues must be addressed before pain levels fall. Always feel free to contact us with any uncertainty of improvement.
Fees and Payment
Payment is to be made at the time of treatment unless other arrangements have been made in advance. The fee at the time of service is $135 per visit. Billed rate is $200.56. The discounted rate for payment at the time of service is $135.00.
Payment may be made in cash, by check, or by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, or Discover. If you wish to pay by check please have your check made out before you arrive for the treatment.

Missed Appointments and Late Cancellations
Missed appointments are a loss to everyone including other people who would have liked to have had that time. In order to keep prices reasonable the full fee is charged for missed appointments and for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance.
